A power of attorney gives you the ability to appoint one or more people to manage your affairs on your behalf. These documents are very important as they will enable your Attorneys to help you when you are unable to do so yourself.

There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney:

Lasting Power of Attorney: Property and Affairs enables your Attorneys to assist you and manage your finances should you be unable to.

Lasting Power of Attorney: Personal Welfare enables your Attorneys to deal with medical directives and care decisions on your behalf if you are unable to make these decisions yourself.

We can advise on the options available, which is the more appropriate and guide you through the rules and regulations of this area of law.
